HARD ANODIZING MIL.A.8625

Hard anodizing is the process of gaining hardness by means of natural oxidization. A film between 20-110µm thickness is formed in this process. These values help elimination of wear rates or errors due to incorrect measurement. Softness which is the main disadvantage of hard anodizing aluminum is also eliminated with this hard film layer. While 4/2 value of the coating applied in alloyed aluminum penetrates into the material the remaining 4/2 value is formed on the surface. It is equally distributed on the entire surface however a variance of ±2-5 ±µm may occur on the surface. Fields of use are as follows.
